Graduate Developer
WHO ARE YOU?
You are Graduate Developer with exposure to PHP looking for a new or first role working for an esteemed Brand, Design and Digital Agency, where you will have the opportunity to help shape our agency’s digital offering and help shape our digital department, our service offering and be one of the go-to Engineers in the agency?

WHAT’S THE JOB?
In this role, the Graduate Software Developer will be working a Full Stack position, developing on the frontend and backend, primarily using WordPress, PHP and JavaScript. You will be working with the Web Design team to build, improve and optimise new websites, maintaining existing software code and working within the agency’s server.
This role would suit a Junior Developer looking to work in an organisation that will heavily invest in your future development and progression, keeping you busy, working on the biggest and most exciting development projects within the organisation.
Reporting directly to our experienced Digital Director and Digital Account Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to learn from and collaborate with true experts in the field. Our Digital Director has years of experience in the digital marketing industry and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. You will have the opportunity to learn from their expertise and gain valuable knowledge and skills that will help you advance your career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Front-end and back-end development work
- Collaborate with the web design team to develop software solutions that meet client requirements
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using PHP and JavaScript
- Develop / custom WordPress plugins and themes
- Test and debug software to ensure high-quality delivery
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies, frameworks, and programming languages
- Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and other project-related activities as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with WordPress, PHP and JavaScript programming languages
- Knowledge of WordPress development and customisation
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
