💖 A pink Tardis at Tower Bridge, ‘bridging’ actor Ncuti Gatwa’s role as both a Ken in ‘Barbie’ and as the new ‘Doctor Who’.
💖 An all-pink billboard on the A40.
💖 The temporary renaming of Barbican Underground station to ‘Barbie Can’ (shouldn’t that have been ‘BarbieKen’?).
💖 The Corner Shop at Selfridges reimagined as a destination where Barbie might browse, plus exclusive movie costumes in their windows (including the sequin jumpsuit worn by Margot Robbie and the white-gold jumpsuit worn by Ryan Gosling in the disco scene from the trailer)
💖 The smell of Barbie’s Dreamhouse thanks to @HomesickCandles
💖 Barbenheimer t-shirts designed by @NotoraEnt in recognition of the ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’ movies both opening on the same day
💖 The ‘Barbie x boohoo’ fashion range, described as “an iconic pink colour palette with pops of whites and black”.
💖 Pink bus and taxi wraps across London (kind of an obvious one but nicely done).
💖 Vue cinemas offering a free ‘Barbie-pink Candy Floss Tango Ice Blast’ to anyone who watches the movie this week and can prove their name is Ken.
💖 The Barbie Dreamhouse you can actually rent through Airbnb (see post from a couple of weeks back).
